Mr. Antonio "Tony" Ellis, age 50 of Lillington, NC departed this life on Saturday December 9, 2017 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC. Tony was the son of Mr. William Andrew Ellis (deceased) and Elizabeth Ellis. He also leaves to cherish his memories his wife Mary Ellis of 27 years daughter Donisha Lashe' Ellis two very special God-daughters Ashley Nicole Eason,Tiffany Lynette Eason, and one sister Sandra Solomon.
Tony was a 1985 graduate of Smithfield-Selma Senior High School and attended Wake Technical Community College where he received his Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering. He worked for a number of years as a Supervisor at Champion until its closing. Following the plant closing he was employed by Tyco, as a Supervisor until his health would not allow him to continue.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday December 16, 2017 at 1:00 pm Holy Temple Church of Selma Inc., 228 Montgomery Heights Rd Selma, NC 27576.
