Mrs. Della Magaree Creech was born on April 9, 1926, to John and Canella Bryant. She entered eternal rest on Monday, November 15, 2021, at the age of ninety-six. Born and raised in Clinton, NC. Della obtained her education through the Sampson County public school system. She moved to Smithfield, married, raised her family, and maintained a career with Burlington Industries for many years. Family who predeceased Mrs. Creech are her parents, John and Canella Bryant, husband, Herbert McKinley Creech, and children; Davis Byrd, Cassandra Roberson, Herman McClamb, and Walter Byrd. Mrs. Della M. Creech leaves to mourn her loss, Hortense Gardner of Wilson, NC; Lula Creech of Wilson, NC; Therman McClamb (Sandra) of Charlotte, NC; Herbert Byrd (Thomasina) of Selma, NC; Aldostin Byrd (Rose) of Smithfield, NC; James Guest (Dorothy) of Smithfield; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, devoted niece Bernice Durham and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing: Saturday November 20, 2021 at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Mr. Boyd Moses Elliott, age 72 of Fayetteville, NC transitioned Thursday November 11, 2021 at SECU Jim and Betsy Bryan Hospice House of UNC in Pittsboro, NC. Mr. Elliott was the son of the late Dorothy Leigh High and Moses Elliott. He was born on July 4, 1949 in Johnston County, NC. Mr. Boyd attended attended and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1967. He also, served our country in the U.S. Air Force until his discharge in May 1975. Boyd had a profound love for his family and leaves to cherish his memories, Four children; John Andrew Grady, KimShea Moore (Antoine) Regan Belinda Elliott, Dorothy Leigh Wright, One brother; Lloyd Earl Elliott of Newton Grove, Thirteen grandchildren; Kaiyre, Justin, Ihnacinse, Mikaiya, Antoine Jr., Kyria, Micah, Mackenzie, Malachi, Charles, Mykelle, Jeremiah and King, One aunt; Hattie Peacock of Spivey’s Corner, One uncle; John Grantham of Burgaw NC, Two nieces; Tamika and Krystle, One nephew; Damon and a host of cousins and friends.
