Lawrence David Allen, 79, died at home on August 21, 2024. Born in Bentonville, South Carolina, he moved to Selma for his career.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Allen, his son, Lawrence Kenneth Allen, and his daughter, Tamica L. Allen.
In 2014, Lawrence retired from the Department of Social Services, after working many years at Burlington Industry and Bayer Industry.
