Message: Mr Leon was a treasured coworker. I had the privilege of working with him for twelve years. He was a man of few words but when they were needed he found them. He believed whole heartedly in an honest days work for a dollar. He spoke often of Sharon and she was a frequent visitor in the truck stop. She was the love of his life and he was proud of what they had become. We had many coworkers through the years but there will only ever be one Leon. I am grateful for the life lessons he shared with me and for the opportunity to know him. May he rest in peace.

Message: I just found out yesterday that Mr. Leon has died, and I never thought I would be sitting here writing a tribute to him. I have known him since I was seven years old.He was a kind and thoughtful person .He was good to my siblings and myself. I had a chance to introduce him to my husband, and told him I had two grown daughters. The next time I saw him we were talking about some concerns I had and he advised me on what he felt was right, looking back on it now I never got the chance to tell him I appreciated it. I remember watching him when I was young walking with Ms. Sharon and he was always holding her hand. So to Ms Sharon you were fortunate and blessed to have had Mr.Leon and don't be sad because God knew he needed rest, one day you will be together again and it will be just as beautiful as I remember that you two were. Our prayers are with you.
