Walter Sanders Funeral Home regrets to inform you of the passing of Mr. Thomas Henry Ray Sr. age 64 of Four Oaks, NC on Friday June 9th 2017. Mr. Ray is the son of Mrs. Lillie Ray and the late Fred Ray Sr. Thomas was also predeceased by Alice Faye Phelps, Mary Ray, and Patricia Manning. He is survived by his mother Mrs. Lillie Ray, three daughters Jennifer Ray, Tammi Ray McCullers, Dianetta Foye, and one son Thomas Henry Ray Jr., two brothers Fred Ray Jr., and Lawrence Ray.He also leaves to cherish his memories two very special friends Raymond McDuffie,Thad Hodges and a host of other relatives and friends.
Thomas was a 1971 graduate of Smithfield- Selma Sr. High School, and served in the United States Army from 1971 - 1976.
Services for Mr. Ray are planned for Sat. June 17 at 2:00pm in the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Divine Destiny Adult Care Inc. 36 E Edgerton St Smithfield, NC.
