Mr. Ulysses Gill Jr.

Mr. Ulysses Gill Jr., passed away on Sunday March 27, 2022 while a patient at Johnston UNC Health in Smithfield, NC. Mr Gill was born September 18, 1959 in Baltimore MD, his parents were Ulysses and Charity Gill both deceased. 

Junior as he was called by family members attended Johnston County Public Schools. He worked as a concrete finisher for many years. Mr. Gill, aka "Gilly Monster" rode his bicycle all over town and loved fishing.

Junior leaves to cherish his memories one brother: Samuel Howard, four sisters: Angela Pate, Sheila Gill, Sherry Gill, Cecelia Gill, a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. 

Viewing/Funeral Services: Monday April 4, 2022 at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC 27577 from 2:00pm until 2:30pm. Funeral services begin at 2:30pm and will be streamed live on our Facebook page. Services will limited to 35 persons in the chapel and facial coverings are required.
