Mrs. Delia Retic Robinson
Mrs. Delia Retic Robinson, age 83 of Durham, NC transitioned surrounded by her loving family on Friday November 5, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Robinson was born November 6, 1938 in Mobile Ala. She was the daughter of the late Anderson and Louise Retic.
Mrs. Robinson will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving wife and mother, distinguished teacher and administrator in Durham Public Schools and a champion of various civic causes in the City of Durham.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Isaac Robinson of Durham, one daughter Tiombe Robinson-Muhammad and son-in-law Severlin Muhammad, of Clayton, NC, one grandchild Ma’at Cokely, of Durham, NC, two great grandchildren Serenity and Demi, of Durham, NC, one stepdaughter Venita Robinson, a host of loving sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services:
Thursday December 2, 2021 Covenant Presbyterian Church 2620 Weaver St., Durham, NC starting at 10:00 am. Memorial service will be by invitation only (Will be live streamed on the churches website)
Walter Sanders Funeral and Cremation Services – Smithfield NC
In lieu of flowers make contributions to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2620 Weaver St. Durham, NC & designate Youth Ministries.
