Eliza Sanders, 97, Four Oaks, NC went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 25, 1922 in Clayton, NC to the late Fred and Rena (Sanders) Penny Sr. Eliza married the late Rufus E. Sanders of Smithfield. They resided in Smithfield briefly before calling Four Oaks home for over 45 years.

Eliza leaves to mourn her loss, a great niece that she raised as her daughter, Tracey Penny, Clayton, NC, a brother, Fred Penny Jr. (Bernice) of Philadelphia, PA, 2 nieces, Rosa Penny of Clayton, NC and Glennie McCullers of Raleigh, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at The Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. The family will receive guests from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon with funeral services following at 12:00 noon.
