Mrs. Hettie Marie Moore
Mrs. Hettie M. Moore, age 79 transitioned Wednesday October 13, 2021 surrounded by family at her residence. Mrs. Moore was born April 16, 1942, her parents were Henry and Alice Williams.
Mrs. Hettie was a graduate of Johnston Central High School. She worked at Cleveland School for many years. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining her family and friends. She enjoyed all people. Mrs. Moore was a member of Johnston Chapel Freewill Baptist Church where she served in many capacities.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband Earl Moore, daughter Rosalyn Poston and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing:
Thursday October 21, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Facial Coverings are required.
Funeral Services:
Friday October 22, 2021 at Johnston Chapel Freewill Baptist Church at 12:00 noon. Facial coverings and social distancing are required. Maximum capacity 75 persons.

Message: Please accept my deepest condolences and know that God loves you and can restore your spirits, give you peace, and strengthen you. Roz your mom's amazing qualities are being carried on by you. You took such good care of her. She was so lucky to have you. I loved her also and was proud to call her my mom, as well as First Lady too! That was my own personal name I gave to her and daddy Earl (Mayor). (Lol) To me it seemed like they pretty much looked out for everyone with such dignity and they took on so many tasks for people in the community and wherever needed. Her compassion, hospitality, generosity and caring nature was contagious and her memory will live on forever.
