Ms. Kathleen Watson
On November 13, Mother Kathleen Watson passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Kenly, North Carolina. She was 86 years old.
Mother Watson was well-loved in her small town. And as a dedicated member of her home church, Mincey Chapel Free Will Baptist, she always made time for everyone. She provided support, strength and love to all of her family and friends.
To know her was to know she loved God. And she worked tirelessly to remind everyone she came in contact with of his love and goodness.
Mother Watson was very vocal about the importance of social distancing during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Out of concern for others and to honor her wishes, there will be no funeral. A memorial service will be delayed until later in 2022, when it is safer for people to assemble. Details will be published through her home church when the time comes.
