Linda Faye Joyner Lassiter of Kenly, NC., age 82 was born November 7, 1941and transitioned November 4, 2024. She was a patient at SECU Hospice House when she passed away.
Linda Faye was the daughter of James E. Sr. and Mazelle Joyner. She was a great - loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to call. She enjoyed preaching God’s word, singing gospel songs, and spreading the word to all.
Faye was predeceased by her parents James E. Sr. and Mazelle Joyner, son, Robert Joyner, siblings, Betty Simms, James E. Joyner Jr., and Everette Joyner.
Faye is survived by her children; Linda Gail Jordan, Michael Belton, Pamela Belton, Kenneth Belton, Cameila Belton, Juilian Belton, Juarez Douglas, Moes Douglas, DeAndre Speas, Michel Speas, siblings; Jamie Moore, Vasel Joyner, and Josia Jackson and a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements:
Viewing: Friday Nov. 15, 2024, at The Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Funeral Services: Saturday Nov. 16, 2024, at Southern Grove Missionary Baptist Church 1058 Old Stancil Rd., Kenly, NC 27542 at 12:00 noon. (viewing from 11:00-12:00 noon).
