Walter Earl “Skip” Sutton
Walter Earl Sutton was born on October 9, 1947 to Adele Stancil and Calvin Sutton Sr. in Selma, North Carolina. Walter, affectionately called “Skip” by his family and friends, departed this life on February 13, 2022 VCU Hospital Richmond VA.
He attended Richard B. Harrison High School in 1966. During his early years of life, he worked at Field Crust and Gumenick Properties. He loved sports, music, and spending time with his family and friends
Skip was predeceased by his parents Adele Stancil Sutton and Calvin Sutton Sr., son; Kenneth Sutton, Siblings Calvin Sutton Jr., and Rematha Sutton.
He leaves his wife Edith Pamela Sutton,
children Angela Sutton, Terrance Sutton
Sabrina Sutton, Michael Edwards, Louis Turner, Tanesha Allen (Jamar), Terry Oakley, Fernell Oakley, sisters; Frances McClain (Jimmy) and Alice “Teresa” George (Calvin).
