Dr. Lillian Lee

Dr. Lillian Lee was born on July 3, 1947, in Wayne County, NC to the late James Brewington & Doris Leach. On October 16, 2026, she peacefully transitioned from this earthly life into eternal rest.

Throughout her life, Lillian dedicated herself to Early Education at Johnston Lee Head-Start, Telecommunications with Nortel and the Ministry. 

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters; Angela Williams and Cassandra Poston. 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren. Four Siblings; Annette Pearson, Brenda Kay Leach, Clifton Leach, Sammy Lee Leach Sr.

The family will be receiving guest at Dr. Lillian’s home at 122 Strickland Dr. Smithfield, NC 27577 from 12PM- 8PM Daily Monday Oct. 19 -Friday Oct. 23.

Viewing: Friday October 23, 2026 at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC 27577 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

Funeral Service: Saturday October 24, 2026, at St. Peter DOC Church 1011 Massey St, Smithfield, NC

Viewing 11:00 am - 12:00 noon, Funeral Services at 12:00 noon.
