Mother Delois Ann Davis

Delois Ann Davis, 88, of Four Oaks, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 28, 1938, in Harnett County, NC, she was the daughter of the late James “Frog” McNeill and Goldie Raynor.
Delois attended Johnston County Training School (J.C.T.S.) in Smithfield, NC. Over the course of her career, she worked at Sylvania Electronics and K.R. Edwards Tobacco Processors before joining Johnston County Public Schools, where she served for more than 25 years before retiring. She was a faithful member of Juniper Grove Disciple Church and loved her role as a Mother of the church. Delois’s greatest love was for God and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James “Frog” McNeill and Goldie Raynor, and her sister, Pearline Burns.
Mother Delois leaves to cherish her memory her son, Tony E. McNeill, along with many other relatives and friends.

Viewing: Thursday Oct. 8, 2026, at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. (Family present from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm).
Funeral Services: Friday Oct 9, 2026, at Juniper Grove Disciple Church 5350 U.S. Hwy 301 S Four Oaks, NC 27524 viewing 10:00 am until 11:00 am and funeral services starting at 11:00 am.
