Mr. Edward Wade Boykins, age 87 of Kenly passed away on Thursday July 16, 2020 while a resident at The Laurels of Forest Glenn in Garner, NC. Mr. Boykins was born March 6, 1933. His parents were June and Lela Mae Boykins.
Mr. Boykins attended school in the Johnston County Public Schools system, following school he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served honorably.
Mr. Boykins was married to the former Kay Kendrick. He is survived by his wife Kay T. Boykins, and sister Janice Pearce and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services for Mr. Boykin will take place Wednesday July 22nd at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Chapel at 11:00 am. (Face Masks Are Required)
and services are limited to 20 persons. Services will stream live on our Facebook page starting at 10:55 am. The final resting place will be Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.
