Mrs. Patricia Rhue Stacker, age 71 of Princeton, NC transitioned on Saturday July 18, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC. Mrs. Stacker was the daughter of Alexander and Tessie Sanders Rhue. She was born November 1, 1948 in Johnston County NC.
Mrs. Stacker attended Johnston County Schools and graduated with the Class of 1966 from Richard B. Harrison High School in Selma. She later attended North Carolina Central University. She worked for many years at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Patricia was a member of New Generation Christian Church. She loved to crochet, write plays, write poetry and was an avid story teller.
She was preceded in death by both her parents Alexander and Tessie Rhue, husband of 45 years Richard E. Stacker, brother Rudolph Rhue, and sister Rachael Upchurch. Mrs. Stacker leaves to cherish her memories, daughter Shauna Stacker, son Richard Derron Stacker, beloved grandson, Antonio Blake, four brothers; Alex D. Rhue, John Q. Rhue, Donald Rhue, Ronald Rhue, two sisters; Teresa R. Stancil, Anita E. Rhodes, a lot of “G-Children”, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her motto was, “Live, Laugh and Love”.
There will be a walk thru viewing for Mrs. Stacker in the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd Smithfield, NC Friday July 24th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. (Face Masks are required) The family of Mrs Stacker will have "A Celebration of Life" on Saturday July 25th @ the Neuse Amphitheatre on Front Street Smithfield, NC beginning at 9:00 am. (Face Masks are required).
