Mr. Joacquin McKnight

Joacquin McKnight was born May 7th 1955 in Panama City, Panama. He passed away Sunday, May 8th 2022, at his home in Raleigh, NC after battling lung cancer. He worked faithfully for Lowe's Home Improvement of Cary for 30 years and retired March 18th 2022. He loved to fish & fry! He knew how to make you laugh in the toughest of situations even while going through his own "toughest of situations". We invite you to come out and help the family celebrate his life!

Message: We are so saddened to hear of Jock's passing. Alston Street will not be the same without seeing him sitting on the porch or driving up Cabarrus Street. As you grieve, just know that God does not make mistakes and He knew that Jock's suffering down here had to end. You all are in our thoughts and prayers and may God continue to strengthen you.

Message: Each life is a gift...It may create a gaping hole in our hearts, but imagine what we would have missed had we never held that special person in our arms, laughed with them, and cherished them...Every life – every person – is a wonderfully made sample of God's handiwork (Psalm 139)...Every human is an image-bearing likeness of God (Genesis 1:27)...Palms 139-14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

Message: I first met Joc on May 6, 2005 when I came to Lowe's Store 426 for an interview. He was my first point of contact and happened to be at entrance of the store when I asked him "where is the training room"? He escorted me and wished me good luck and almost every weekend for the 16 years that I have worked at Lowes we greeted each other. Joc always had good conversation, kind words and jokes. I am terribly sad that he is no longer here. My condolences to the family. Heaven has gained a great great man! Sleep in Peace Joc!

Jock was a good man. Always willing to help if he was able. He fought a good fight. No more pain in his body. God makes no mistakes.
