Mr. Nathaniel Lofton
Mr. Nathaniel Lofton, age 91 transitioned quietly on Friday May 6, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Lofton was born April 10, 1931 in Johnston County, NC. He was the son of the late Loyal Hood Lofton and Betsy Arabellar Bryant Lofton.
Mr. Lofton attended and graduated from Johnston County Training School. He was a farmer and worked at K.R. Edwards as a security guard until his retirement.
In addition to his parents Loyal and Betsy Lofton, he was preceeded in death by two sisters, Mary Lou L. Merritt, Willie Mae Vinson Sanders, and brother David Earl Lofton.
He Leaves to cherish his memories his wife Ella Tripp Lofton, son; Clinton H. Lofton, daughters; Linda G. Lofton, Janice Lofton Barnes (Donald), Connie Lofton McDougle, one sister; Elouise Deloatch , one brother; Richard S. Lofton and many other relatives and friends.

Tuesday May 10, 2022 Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd Smithfield, NC 27577 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Facial Coverings are required.
Funeral Service - Wednesday May 11, 2022 C.J. Williams Western Assembly Headquarters Bldg 9766 US Highway 701S Newton Grove, NC 28366 at 11:00 am. Facial coverings are required, Live stream of services will start at 10:55 am opn our Facebook page.
