Mrs. Christa Margaret Schroeder

Mrs. Christa Margaret Schroeder, age 84 was born in Germany September 21, 1937. She was the daughter of Emil and Olga Zink.

Christa was a beloved wife, mother and Oma. She lived a life full of adventure. She traveled the world, raised a family, and was very active in her grandchildren’s lives. She was a strong willed women who alway put others first. With her camera or video camera in hand, she knew the importance of documenting memories. She was active in her church and loved God immensely. She shared many German traditions with her family. 
 
She was a very special person who touched many lives and she will be missed by all. Mrs. Schroeder is survived by five daughters; Monique Schroeder, Annette Fillmore, Yvonne Sims, Bettina Petrie, Celeste Schroeder Newsome, eight grandchildren; Jason Fillmore, Heather Johnson, Rachel Joyner, Evan Newsome, Alexander Petrie, Grey Sims, Andrew Petrie,  Nicholas Sims, one great grandchild, August Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services - Friday August 12, 2022 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2920 NC Highway 42 West Clayton, NC., starting at 4:00 pm.
