Mrs. Lucy Gray Watson Wilson
Lucy Gray Watson Wilson, age 79 was born July 4, 1943, to Rufus and Annie Bell Watson in Johnston County, NC. On Monday August 22, 2022 she transitioned from earth to her heavenly home, following a brief illness at UNC Johnston Health Smithfield, NC.
Mrs. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Annie Watson, son Michael Watson, grandson Landis Watson, brother Roger Watson and sister Mildred Dixon.
She worked at Sylvania, Northern Telecom and Lowe's Home Improvement.
Mrs. Wilson leaves to cherish her fond memories to her husband of over 40 years Mr. Slyvester Wilson, one daughter; Beverly Watson, three sons; Rodney (Gail), Gregory, (Felicia), Shelton (Jacqueline), one step daughter; Tina Dupree, ten granchildren, four great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four brothers; William Kizzy (Ruby), twins Carl and Vernon Watson, Larry Watson, one brother in law; Elmer and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins friends and a very special friend Lucel Lassiter, special cousins; Gracie Revel, Tonja "Muffin" Watson, Linda Watson and Christabelle Harlee.

Friday August 26, 2022 - Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
Funeral Services: Saturday August 27, 2022 - Red Hill United Church of Christ, 10412 Buffalo Rd. Clayton, NC 27527 viewing from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon, Funeral services at 12:00 noon.
