Ms. Frances Delores McClearn Watson

With heavy hearts, we announce the Heavenly transition of Ms. Frances Delores McClearn, affectionately known to many as “Hurricane Fran.”

Born on April 24, 1966, Frances was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of so many. Her laughter, strength, and unforgettable presence will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

We appreciate your prayers, love, and support during this difficult time as our family grieves this tremendous loss.

The family request visits from friends during the hours of 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm daily.

Funeral Arrangements:

Viewing: Sunday July 19, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC 27577.

Funeral Services: Monday July 20, 2026, starting at 11:30 am Shiloh Christian Church, 211 Durham St., Smithfield, NC 27577.

Potted plants are preferred in lieu of fresh flowers.
