Ms. Lorene Monroe, age 87 formerly of Wilsons Mills, NC passed away Wednesday September 22, 2021 while a resident at the Four Oaks Senior Living Center in Four Oaks, NC. Ms. Lorene was born June 15, 1934 in Johnston County, NC, she was the daughter of Victoria Bridges.
Ms. Monroe attended JCTS in Smithfield, NC and was a 1955 graduate. She was a cook at the Wilsons Mills Family Restaurant for many years.
Viewing:
Monday September 27, 2021 at the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel 302 S. Brightleaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. (Facial coverings are required and social distancing while in the building).
Graveside Services:
Tuesday September 28, 2021 at the Wilsons Mills Family Cemetery, Wilsons Mills, NC starting at 11:00 am. (Social distancing must be adhered to).
