Mrs. Linda Faye Benton
Mrs. Linda Faye Benton, age 67 of Four Oaks, NC transitioned from earth to heavenly reward on Friday September 17, 2021 following a brief illness. Mrs. Benton was born to the late Eddie and Doris Leach on January 2, 1954 in Wayne County, NC. Linda Faye attended school in Johnston County and was a 1973 graduate of Smithfield-Selma Senior High School. Her love for reading, learning and knowing the word of God for herself led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Theology. Linda went on to enjoy many years in the electrical manufacturing industry, where she worked until her last days.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband Marvin Benton, three children; Anita Frazier (Kevin), Latoya Sapp (Bennie Barbour Jr.), Alvis Armstrong II (Shatickia Monk), eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three sisters; Lillian Lee, Annette Pearson, Brenda Leach, three brothers; Eddie Leach Jr., Clifton Leach, Sammy Leach, a special sister Nicole Neal, a host of favorite nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

on Friday September 24, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC. Facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
Funeral Services
will be held Saturday September 25, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Shiloh Christian Church 211 Durham St. Smithfield, NC. Due to Covid-19 concerns facial covers are required. Church occupancy will be limited to 125 persons.
