Ms. Vinez Patricia Sims Tinsley
Ms. Vinez Patricia Tinsley was born April 27, 1939 in Pine Level, NC to the late Mary Sims Coakley and James L. Midnight. She is a woman after God’s own heart and loved dearly by many within the community. She devoted her time to helping others with whatever she had to give.
Ms. Tinsley worked many years at KR Edwards before retirement where she was known for always having an encouraging word.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children; (Late) Dennis M. Sims, Hazel D. Sneed, John C. Tinsley and Shauna L. Pressley, 15 grandchildren; Juanita, Kayrese, Little Dennis, Kenny, Tyrone, Catrina, Teena, Ashley, PJ, Shelia, Bre, Antonio, Gloria, Candance, Hector Jr, and first cousin; Louise Jones. She also leaves a host of great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family would like to acknowledge Ms. Linda Abbott, family friend and care provider of Ms. Tinsley, for her dedicated years of service.
Viewing - Walk thru viewing Friday August 13, 2021 at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Facial coverings inside are required.
Due to Covid-19 concerns the family will hold a private service for immediate family members only at 3:00pm on Saturday August 14, 2021. Flowers and cards may be brought to the funeral home.
