Ms. Margaret Ann Williams was born on April 3, 1952 to the late Aaron and Lillie Mae Williams. Ms. Williams passed away on Tuesday July 7, 2020 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC following a brief illness.
Margaret attended Johnston County Schools. She worked at Eaton Corporation for a number of years, and later worked at Barbour Court in Smithfield, NC.
She was a long time member of St. Amanda Missionary Baptist Church in Garner, NC under Rev. Argo Matthews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Aaron and Lillie Mae Williams, One brother; Robert Williams and One sister; Ester who died at birth.
Margaret was a loving and the most wonderful mother to her daughter Doria Denise Williams. She was also survived by Three sisters; Mary Williams, Annie Williams, Lena Williams, Three brothers; Andrew Williams, Donnie Williams, Brewster Williams, sister-in-law; Gwendolyn Williams, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services for Ms. Margaret Ann Williams will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel located at 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC at 12:00 noon, viewing will begin at 11:00 AM. Only 15 persons are allowed to attend and Facial Coverings
are required.
The service will be live streamed on Facebook Live Friday starting at 11:55 AM.
