Deacon Leo Anthony Sanders
Deacon Leo Anthony Sanders, 93 of Smithfield NC passed away quietly on Wednesday December 11, 2024, at Transitions Life Care in Raleigh, NC. Mr. Sanders was born in Johnston County NC. and was the son of the late Paul and Melissa Sanders.
He served in the United States Army and retired honorably. Mr. Sanders worked with the City of Baltimore, MD., and the City of Raleigh, NC., Street Maintenance Departments. He was a faithful Deacon and member of Mt. Zion Church of Deliverance.
He is married to Mary Eason Sanders of the home.
Arrangements:
Walk-Thru Thursday December 19, 2024 at Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Funeral Services: Friday December 20, 2024, St. Peter DOC 1101 Massey St Smithfield, NC., viewing 11:00 - 12:00 noon. Funeral Services starts 12:00 noon. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Live streaming begins at 11:55 am on our Facebook page Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services.
