Mrs. Mary Evelyn Parrish Jones was born September 25, 1950 to the Late Eddie and Effie Parrish, in Princeton, NC. She received her education at North Johnston High School and graduated with the “Class of 1968”. She went on to receive training and became a Certified Nursing Assistant, “CNA”. She assisted in the care of patients and clients for many years.
Mrs. Jones passed away on Sunday March 31, 2019 at her residence in Smithfield.

She Leaves to Cherish her Memories

Sons; Thomas “Tommy” Wheeler of Newport, TN, Robbie (Nancy) Wheeler of Princeton, NC., Daughter; Ashley Messer of Four Oaks, NC., Sister; Eunice Hooks of Micro, NC., Sister and Brother-n-Law Joyce and Oscar Jackson of Fort Washington, MD., Six Grand-Children, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mary was predeceased by her late husband William"Tank" Jones Jr., brothers; Bill, Melvin, Elton, sisters; Ruth, and Estelle.

Services are scheduled for Saturday April 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel located at 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC.

In lieu of flowers and food the family is requesting financial donations be made in C/O Nancy Wheeler.
