Mr. Clarence M. George, aka "Doodle Bug" was born September 11, 1956. His parents were C.C. and Lucy George. "Doodle Bug" passed away quietly on Thursday Feb. 28 surrounded by family and friends at the Johnston Health Center in Smithfield.

Services for Mr. George are scheduled for Friday March 8, 2019 at the Johnston Central Alumni Center 1002 Massey St Smithfield, NC starting at 7:00pm. Viewing from 6:00pm until 7:00.

Walk thru viewing Thursday March 7, 2019 at the Walter Sanders Funeral Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.

Message: To the George family my deepest sympathy. Death is an overwhelming experience that none of us want to go through. There is a hope and that hope is found in the bible where you might say here at John 5:28,29 which says there is going to be a resurrection of those who have passed away. Revelation makes this promise that Death will be done away with forever (Revelation 21:3-5). What helped me was this scripture at Psalms 46:1where it says that God is our refuge and strenght,and a help in times of distress. I hope this gives you and your family a measure of hope .
