Mr. Henry Coy Sanders
Mr. Henry Coy Sanders, age 77 of Smithfield, NC passed away on Monday June 27 at his residence. He was the son of Malissa and Paul Sanders. Henry was born August 30, 1944 in Johnston County NC.
Henry attended public schools at Cooper Elementary and Johnston County Training School. Following school he left for other opportunities in Baltimore, MD. He found that opportunity with the City of Baltimore. He retired after 31 years with the City of Baltimore. He moved to NC to enjoying his retirement. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, small engine repair, landscaping and playing pool. Henry especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was also very fond of his two pets Fluff Fluff and Ebony.
Henry is survived by his wife Trula May Sanders, daughter, Pamela Bowles, ten siblings; Leo, Raymond, Frank, Leon, Marie, Elizabeth, Bessie, Louise, Minnie, Joyce, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services:
Friday July 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Chapel 302 S. Brightleaf Blvd Smithfield, NC 27577. In lieu of flowers the family would request potted plants.
