Mr. James Hubert "Pete" Lee
Mr. James Hubert “Pete” Lee, age 82 formerly of Johnston County, North Carolina passed away quietly on Friday June 24, 2022 in Clinton Md. Mr. Lee was the son of the late Eartha Gardner and Fannie Vida Bennett Lee.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents Eartha Gardner & Fannie Vida Bennett Lee, nine siblings; LoRenes Johnson, Albert “Buddy” Melvin Lee, Flora Naomie Cole, Alarce Lee, Mamie Edith Britt, Amybelle Weeks, Thomas “Tom” Lee, Doris Elizabeth Leach, and George Eartha Lee.
He is survived by his wife Johnetta E. Lee, eight children; Debra Dorsey, Cynthia Lee, Anthony Hall, Dwayne Peacock, Farrah Lee, Anya Rucker, Maya Anderson, Morris Sanders, and numerous grands, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Walk-Thru Viewing: Thursday June 30 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC.
Funeral Service:
Friday July 1 at 12:00 noon, viewing prior to the service from 11:00 until 12:00 noon St. Peter Disciple of Christ Church 1011 E. Massey St., Smithfield, NC. Services will stream live on our Facebook page starting at 11:45 am.
