Mrs. Maude “Caroline” Eldridge Nixon was born April 27, 1934 in Four Oaks, NC. Her parents now deceased were Booker and Maude Eldridge. Maude “Caroline” attended public schools in Johnston County.
Maude, worked for various companies and organizations Fieldcrest Mills, Burlington Industries, Cherry Hospital and also was owner and operator of Maude’s Dress Barn.
She was married to the late David Lee Nixon, and together they had 4 children. Mourning her loss are Kenneth (Linda) Nixon, Karen (Howard) Morgan, Danny (Kaye) Nixon, Trina (Brian) Neal, 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great-grandchildren, and 13 Great-great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Arnold Eldridge, Sherwood Eldridge, James Eldridge, 1 brother in love; EC Nixon (Eunice), 3 sisters in love; Mildred Nixon Lockett (David), Edna Nixon Ray, Lillie Nixon Ward (Ezekial), numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Viewing - Walk-thru viewing Friday April 19, 2019 from 4:00pm till 7:00pm at the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield NC.
