Ms. Denice D. Laney was born to James and Dorothy Laney on December 23, 1955 in Baltimore, Md. Denise attended public school in Smithfield, NC and attended North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. Following College she worked for Channel Master in Smithfield and subsequently worked for and retired from Flanders in Smithfield, NC. Denise passed away on Wednesday March 6, 2019 at Johnston Medical Center Smithfield. She is survived by her brother Tony Laney (Stephanie) of Baltimore Md. A dear best friend Maurice McCullers and host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services to held in the Walter Sanders Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC Saturday March 16, 2019 at 1:00pm.

Message: It saddens me that you have lost a loved one. My heart goose out to you and your family.Our hope is to offer you the hope that the bible holds out. Like the of the resurrection that John 5:28,29 And Revelation 213-5.The bible says that Death will be done away with forever. And we can look forward to the time when those in the graves will be brought back to life.
