Ms. Vanessa Ann Jones Koehli
Ms Vanessa A. Jones- Koehli age 65, passed away June 20, 2023 at her residence in Smithfield, NC. Vanessa was born December 10, 1957 in New York. She was the daughter of Rev. Robert Jones and the late Patricial A Carroll Jones.
Vanessa attended Julia Richman HS in New York, and also attended Shaw University in Raleigh, NC and East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She later joined the U.S. Army where she served over 9 years. After, her military career she worked at the VA Hospital as a Health Technician.
She leaves to mourn her passing her father, Rev. Robert Jones (Dorothy), three sons; Amadeus Koehli (Anna), Floyde Derede Jones, Jamal Jones, four grandchildren; Loisa Koehli, Noemi Koehli, Avalyn Jones, Damion Jones, two sisters; Kay McDuffie (Raymond), Robin Watson (Doug), one aunt, Virginia Staley, a special friend "Cadillac" and a host of cousins and other realtives and friends.
Memorial Services: Tuesday June 27 Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Rd., Goldsboro, NC 27544 at 10:00am.
